Coaching Education
Level: 1 Senior Level and Professional

Level: 2

The Level 2 Program is for the established club or high school coach that has made soccer a career choice. We will teach advanced tactics, systems of play, goalkeeping, and psychological dimensions of the game. The course will consist of classroom lectures and on-field training using high-level teams for demonstration. A coach will interact during the training sessions. Our goal is for a coach to train and develop the pre-college level players. A Level 2 coach will evaluate a match with a partner and the group will discuss and breakdown the match during one of the course sessions. We will conduct Level 2 courses in concurrence with games consisting of high level youth players and/or professionals.

Level: 3

The Level 3 Program is designed for the coach that is evolving into a travel team level, whether it is intermediate or the first experience. This Course will focus on age appropriate characteristics of the player. Technical and Tactical sessions will be designed for the age, ability, and skill level of the team. Our Staff will introduce field players, goalkeeper exercises, and coaching techniques to be utilized in training sessions. Classroom sessions will consist of team management, travel and expense organization, and parent management. Once a coach makes the decision to take this step in the coaching world, they may be interested in coaching as a profession or would like to coach their child through their youth soccer career. Level 3 is also recommended for the first year middle school or Junior High School Coach (JV). Level 3 is a low-pressure, non-testing coaching program that will help coaches interact with the staff and fellow coaches as they learn more of the art of coaching the game of soccer. All Coaches receive a coaching certificate of attendance. Class must have a minimum of 15 coaches. Time commitment: One and a half days. Program A-Day One Friday 6:00pm to 9:00pm-Day Two Saturday 9:00am to 4:00 pm. Program B-Day One Saturday 9:00am to 4:00 pm-Day Two Sunday 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Level: 4

The Level 4 Program is designed for the recreational/in-house (instructional) coach. Most coaches at this level are parents that become involved in the game of soccer due to signing their child up to play soccer. Even if they have some playing experience, there are many characteristics of players at this level that must be recognized for proper teaching techniques. Most teams at this level train one or two times a week with a short season. This is not a competitive, but building stage for these players, with the emphasis on fun while learning the game of soccer. Level 4 is a low-pressure non-testing coaching program that will teach the fundamentals of coaching our young enthusiastic new players. All Coaches receive a Certificate of attendance. Clubs must have a minimum of 15 coaches. Time commitment: One Day 9:00am to 4:00pm.
